Seafood Steam Pot Dinner Adventure on a Scenic Island of  Wrightsville Beach

Enjoy a private cruise over to one of the islands for a coastal seafood steam pot dinner with spectacular views! Relax as you soak up the scenery while your captain prepares your customized bucket of seafood.  Book your cruise with Epic Excursions and order your steam pot separately to be delivered to our boat by Topsail Steamer, out of Wrightsville Beach.  We will provide a burner for cooking and a table for your low country boil.  This excursion is a customer favorite, and great for families, couples, or party groups!

Common Questions:

• What is the difference between the Island Steam Pot Excursion vs. The Catered Island Seafood Boil?  The biggest difference is there is no table and seating set up with the Steam Pot Excursion.  The captain cooks the steam pot and pours it on a table (provided by Epic Excursions).  Once the food is poured, our guests can choose to stand around the table to eat or make a plate and sit in a beach chair. Most often our guests prefer to stand around the table to eat their low country boil, which makes for a casual and fun outing! When we do a catered seafood boil on the island we set up tables (with tablecloth) with chairs, and the food is cooked by the caterer. We have more time and more set up involved with the catered seafood boil, which makes the steam pot excursion more affordable for smaller groups. The catered seafood boil is best for larger groups and requires a minimum of 10 people.

• Is the steam pot provided when I book the excursion? No, The steam pot is sold separate and delivered to our boat the day of your excursion. Directions for ordering are in the confirmation email provided at the time of booking.
• If I want to show up to the island that has been pre-setup with a table and seating which excursion should I book?  The Catered Seafood Boil Excursion or the Culinary Chef Experience with True Blue Restaurant.  They both have the table and seating set up.
• If we only have 2 people and we would like to have a dinner experience is that available? YES, the steam pot excursion is perfect for 2 people and it is also one of our most popular bookings for groups of all sizes.
