Favorite Boating Destinations
An uninhabited island known for beautiful dunes, coves, and epic surf. Swim and relax on the calm sound side of the island, and then make your way along the beautiful paths that lead to the ocean. Masonboro island is an exclusive spot for surfing, shelling, and island camping!
A favorite destination for the beautiful turquoise waters that remind us of the caribbean! Mason’s inlet is located at the Northern end of Wrightsville Beach, separating it from Figure Eight Island. This destination is known for the beautiful beaches, clear water, sand bars, surfing, paddleboarding and great swimming spots! In the warmer months it’s also a popular social gathering spot for locals.
Lea Island is to the North of Figure Eight Island. It’s a bit further of a boat ride from Wrightsville Beach (about 20-30 minutes), and the scenery along the Intracoastal waterway is beautiful. Lea Island tours are great for those who love to shell, and spend the day on a secluded beach! This island has beautiful sandbars, and the bluest of waters! Pack a lunch, or head over to one of the restaurants on the water! There’s lots to see and explore….or just sit back ,relax, and take it all in!
